The Need for Faster Emergency Response in GBV Cases
GBV continues to be a pressing issue worldwide, and Kenya is no exception. One of the significant challenges that survivors face is accessing immediate help, especially in locations where traditional addresses do not exist. In emergencies, every minute counts. Currently, response times can reach an overwhelming 162 minutes, leaving survivors waiting for support when they need it most. Residence Technologies aims to address this by reducing emergency response times to less than 15 minutes through our unique smart address technology.
How Our Smart Address System Makes a Difference
Our smart address system brings precise, reliable location data to communities across Kenya, even in areas where conventional addresses are absent. Through this innovative solution, we’re able to ensure that GBV survivors can receive timely support, providing emergency responders with accurate location information to deliver assistance faster. By creating safe, accessible, and secure digital addresses, we’re not only innovating in technology but also reimagining what it means to serve and protect every individual.
